Congratulations to the winners of our "Guess the Number of Jellybeans" Contest.
Bret and Seanne Krogman with Krogman Construction, Inc. in Danville, CA are the proud new owners of a Gateway MT6458 Notebook Computer along with a 30 day free trial of the TractPro Time Management Application.
In true construction fashion, Bret did a take-off so accurate that his guess of 4880 jellybeans was just 13 short of the actual number of 4893.
Honorable mention must go out to Rick Revetria, who up until the afternoon of the last day of the PCBC was the guess leader with 4875. What a close race!
When all was said and done the numbers stacked up as follows:
- 47% of the guesses qualified by staying below the actual number of 4893.
- 8% were within 5 percent while a whopping 73% of the guesses fell over 20 percent outside of the number.
- The lowest number guessed was 964 and the highest guess was 456789.
Overall, the people who guessed the closest spent the time really trying to figure the number mathematically. We had a great time watching all of the methods employed and can’t wait to see what happens next year!
